Oooh was it cold! Felt like 24 degrees with the windchill but this was a nice trail to do. Was Able to do an intermittent walk 1mi/run 1mi with total of 10miles. Very nice color on the trees throughout the park. I Had a blast and have been coming to visit family for several years but never took the time to actually get out and take a nice run/walk at the parks available. Glad I did this time around.

Place is so beautiful right at dusk. I saw disc golf stuff. There's going to be baseball fields soon!! The concrete path is wide and perfect for cycling!

The lake and surrounding area is so cleanand free of trash. The best meditation spot in the city after a long day at work. I take my dog here all the time for our 8 mile walks. The normal trail is a little over 3 miles but if you walk out to the pier (toward kemp) it an extra 2 miles can be added. Best on a non windy day.

I can't visit Wichita Falls without climbing the hill at Lake Wichita Park. It's been a 10 year tradition. Also a safe, clean and pet friendly park by the lake to enjoy with family.
